Award given to those who have demonstrated extraordinary skill in the arts and/or sciences. Carries with it a Grant of Arms. The name was originally submitted as "Order of the Desert Flower of the Outlands". It was returned in July 1997 for non-period style. The name was resubmitted in January 1998 as "Order of the Flower of the Desert". That submission was pulled in April 1998 and replaced with "Order of the Flower". The badge was originally submitted as "(Fieldless) Two stags combatant sustaining between them a mamluk rosette gules". This submission set the precedent on the prohibition of mamluk rosettes as an acceptable SCA charge, and was returned in July 1997. Recipients of the order are currently styled "Companions of the Desert Flower" and are entitled to place the initials OFO after their name.

Award given to those who have demonstrated extraordinary skill in the fighting arts of traditional SCA-style weaponry. Carries with it a Grant of Arms. Originally the name was registered as "Order of the Iron Hart of the Outlands" in July 1997. The name was changed to "Order of the Iron Hart" in May 1998. Recipients of the order are styled "Thegns of the Iron Hart" and are entitled to place the initials TIH after their names.

Award given to those who have demonstrated extraordinary skill in the arts and sciences of traditional SCA-style archery.. Carries with it a Grant of Arms. The name was originally submitted as "Archers of the Iron Rain". It was modified at Kingdom level in the submissions process to "Order of the Sharparrow" when no adequate documentation could be found to support the word "Iron" modifying the word "rain" in period. The name and badge were both registered in May 1998. The name was modified by Laurel from "Order of the Sharparrow" to "Order of Sharparrow" to more correctly reflect the documentation used for "Sharparrow" A recipient of this award may be styled as an "Archer of the Iron Rain" and is entitled to place the initials AIR after their name.

Recipients of this award are styled "Companions of the Stag" are entitled to place the initials OSO after their name.

Award given to those who have demonstrated excellence in the art of fence, giving freely of their expertise in the use and artistry of this weapons form and the courtly graces which accompany its mastery. Carries with it a Grant of Arms Defenders of the White Scarf are styled "Don" or "Doña" and are entitled to place the initials DWS after their names. The insignia of the order is a white scarf worn under the arm and tied at the shoulder. This award was elevated to grant-level on November 9, 1996. Members of the order prior to this date retain their awards at the former AoA level and may still be styled "Don" or "Doña".

The Order of the Trefoil is unique in the SCA in that it can be given to the same recipient three times, once for each kind of trefoil. Given by the Queen to an entrant in the Queen's Champion Tournament who has displayed honor and chivalry throughout the rounds of fighting. The holder of this honor has the right to wear a green baldric trimmed with gold, depicting a gold rose, until the next Queen's Champion's Tournament. Each local group in the Outlands may also proclaim a Flower of Chivalry at their local Champion tournaments. The baldrics vary group to group, each in the group's livery colors, and depicting a different flower. An entrant in the Queen's Rapier Tournament may also be honored as a Flower of Chivalry, and given the privilege to wear a similarly decorated baldric, and to carry a rapier which is passed on from the previous Flower.
